Exactly one year ago today I, as well as many others, received alllllll the texts and emails that productions were being halted in NYC and all of my booked gigs within the next 2 weeks would be canceled.. little did we all know the rest of the year would be canceled indefinitely.

One year later & we are one step closer.

A year ago doing the most on The Blacklist. and I dressed for 67°.. it was not 67°.

The last few weeks at have been full of laughter, fun, and a whole lot of braids. Not pictured: braids

Got annoyed with the time constraint my clear individual boxes were causing me.. trying something new with these clear acrylic boxes. They have a flip top lid, come in so many different sizes so I was able to find the perfect ones for my bag, and are easily wipeable ! I can even take them out and put them on my table if needed for the day. So far I’ve only needed to work directly out of my bag for quick gigs. I like having smaller containers within to still have organization but definitely see a difference in timing and efficiency having “lose” items. Boxes are from amazon

I posted this bag on my story recently and got plenty of DMs asking about it so I figured I’d make a post - yes it’s unavailable but it comes back in stock every so often (thats how I was able to snag) - I AM OBSESSED! My whole career I feel I’ve been trying to find a commuter friendly bag that didn’t involve a big set up/unpacking - like most I had a few of the infamous “makeup malls” but the straps were never fun. Wearing as a backpack was so uncomfortable, boxy, heavy.. just a crowded subway nightmare. This bag... is a dream. It was deeper than the makeup malls so most of my bottles actually fit, it has an entirely padded back and straps, even more compartments on the outside and sides including a tissue dispenser on one side (for sanitary purposes I still keep my tissues in the plastic container.. but the side pockets are awesome. The inside has a plastic flap that feels quality.. you know what I’m talking about. I’ve considered putting my brushes in there but haven’t decided if they’ll be sealed enough.

The set up I have so far is just what was in my other bag, transferred here. I haven’t adjusted anything because I was in a rush on a 3 day gig. I have some stuff ordered that I hope works... will for sure make a post once completed. Oh.. this bag also has a portable charger inside of it .. amazing!! Perfect for phones, fans, lights, oil diffusers.. anything with a USB. This bag fits 1.5x what my last bag did and its 500x comfier and more compact.. also it was $60 which puts the cherry ontop. I imagine I’ll have this bag for years🥰
