The time is now. Enough. I will always believe in human decency, everyone deserves care and everyone is equal. The atrocities of this administration are a stain on human history. To my fellow hairdressers- if you don’t stand up now, then when…. Be brave. You don’t have to swallow the rhetoric that ice/trump supporters make you listen to when you are providing them a service. In fact, as the Supreme Court has said with that du***ss wedding cake case, you can refuse service to anyone you want to. So be brave and don’t worry. The money is not worth it. To clients- I love our time together and want nothing more than to give you my best so you feel your best. But I won’t be servicing people who support this administration/ ice anymore. To anyone scared to speak up: What side of history do you want to be on? Inconvenience is an awful reason to stay quiet. Love for everyone, especially those that can’t speak up is the only way. 🖕 ice.

It truly is such a blessing to be able to share this craft with other hairdressers. I love the responsibility and trust other stylists put in me. To be able to clearly breakdown a technique, share an inspiration and walk stylists through this journey is one of my greatest loves. It’s about developing as an artist, a business owner, being the best for the person in your chair, giving your clients what they want and need. This career is about the people you meet along the way. Other hairdressers, clients, bosses, teachers and students. What a fantastic ride this is.
