YBL Skincare Inspiration:
YBL Skincare was created by YBLimited owner LiLi Washington and her close childhood friend Ruby Osby. Both had their interest in formulating a line that was high quality, all natural and most of all effective! They wanted to bring something to the beauty community that embodied them and the YBLimited Brand as a whole.
As a young child LiLi would always get in trouble for using their family's hygiene products to create his own concoctions. They naturally knew what to mix together to create exactly what they wanted. As an adult LiLi became a well sought after makeup artist. Still skincare remained their first love. She always says “makeup is only as good as the skin it's on”. Believing that proper skincare makes for flawless makeup application.
Ruby, being a pediatric Sonographer at The John Hopkins Hospital and mother of 2, reducing her families toxic load through the use of Pure Therapeutic Grade Essential Oils and Natural ingredients was a priority. With both of her children being repeatedly sick from outside influences and experiencing skin sensitivities from everyday activities and over the counter products, Ruby made a choice to make her own blends. Word traveled fast among some of her Mom Friends and she found herself making and selling custom blends and creams.

Lotion Booster??? What is “Lotion Booster”

While most lotions boast about its skin improving ingredients. And their ingredients list may seem to substantiate it. There’s rarely enough percentage of the active ingredients to give you the results you so desire. There’s usually enough in the product to be able to claim it legally.
Well that’s where lotion booster comes in. It’s a powerful little cocktail of all natural oils that do some amazing things to your skin. All you do is add it to your favorite lotion. That’s it. I’ve been personally making and using this blend on my own skin for about 20 years. I’ve also shared it with close friends who complain of certain skin issues or who ask how do I keep my skin so toned.
Our “Lotion Booster” is used to soften, tone, polish, hydrate, and even erase scars and stretch marks 😱. There are many scars that should still be present on my skin that simply aren’t there. So stay tuned because on Nov. 1st you will be able to pre order your own bottle!

Our premier YBL Skincare launch consist of a 3 step Facial System. This system is meant to use 1-2 times a week to detox, tone, polish, and rejuvenate your skin. Our YBL Facial System will include a Citrus Scrub, Charcoal Clay Mask, and Anti-Aging Vitamin C Serum. Together and separately these products are powerful yet gentle. Each product in our Facial System is all natural. Some products are even infused with 100% organic essential oils. Apply to a damp, clean face. Remember a little goes a long way. Cover entire face avoiding around the eyes. Let the mask sit 10-20 mins or longer if desired. Mask will begin to harden and remove toxins through your pores. A tingling sensation is completely normal. This is part of the detoxification process. Once the mask has set for the desired time wash off with warm water and face cloth. Always follow with YBL Vitamin C Serum or moisturizer of your choice.
