Wore my locs in a curly ponytail to go see Joe Turner’s Come and Gone on Broadway with my mom. Shoutouts to Taraji P. Henson, Cedric the Entertainer and the whole cast. It was incredible. Tears were shed chile 🥹

I achieved these spiral curls using a headband curling tool (see previous video for details.) And after wearing the spiral drop curls for 2 days, l unraveled them and here are the results 🤗💕

We often confuse product build up for lint. If you’re dealing with product build up in your locs, I recommend increasing how often you shampoo to a frequency that aligns with your product usage.

Even lightweight products will create product buildup if you’re not shampooing regularly enough. You can also incorporate deep cleansing a couple times a year using apple cider vinegar or dish soap but these measures don’t take the place of your regular shampooing. Incorporate a good quality clarifying shampoo into your routine. 👌🏾
