Acupuncture for Sleep 😴
Acupuncture improves sleep by addressing the underlying causes of sleep disturbances and promoting relaxation.
Addresses Specific Sleep Issues:
⭐️It targets the root causes of insomnia, such as anxiety, depression, chronic pain, or digestive issues. By treating these conditions, acupuncture indirectly improves sleep
Activates the Parasympathetic Nervous System:
⭐️It helps shift the body from the “fight or flight” mode (sympathetic nervous system) to the “rest and digest” mode (parasympathetic nervous system), promoting relaxation and better sleep.
Common Acupuncture Points for Sleep:
✅Shen Men (Heart 7): On the wrist, this point is often used for insomnia and emotional balance.
✅An Mian: Located near the base of the skull, this point is specifically used for sleep disorders.
Use these 2 points above 30min before retiring for sleep.
1️⃣Massage the head point “An Mian” for 30-60 seconds using index and middle fingers in circular motions.
2️⃣Massage “Heart 7” in circular morion for 30-60 seconds. Repeat on the other hand.
*️⃣To amplify the effect, you can add essential oils to these points while massaging. Lavender is always a good choice for promoting sleep. 💜

Sea side ☀️ There has been so much transformation in this new chapter of my life. I have slowed down, I now wander through winding cobbled stone streets and savor the moment. I am fully present ! I do not rush to get anywhere. My path is not linear. It winds and circles and spirals. I now hold space for the sacredness of life and living closer to nature and the natural rhythms of life.
There is magic and awe that I have the honor and privilege of experiencing at this point in my life. Slowing down and being present has been the greatest gift that I have allowed myself to receive 🙏🏻

Returning to Porto after 40 years
I was hired to teach jazz and dance aerobics in a chic first of its kind heath club in Foz Porto district.
It was a life changing experience. To return and reconnect with friends and magical sites is truly joyful 🌸🥰

🌸How to Dry skin brushing🌸
* Using a dry body brush on dry skin, begin at your feet, using quick light and long strokes in circular motions moving up your body, legs, towards your heart and upper body. 6-8 strokes for each parts.
* Circulate the brush in a clockwise motion on your stomach and joints, and use long sweeping strokes on the legs, arms, and abdomen. Always in the direction towards your heart (avoid your face, chest and heart).
* Use light pressure in areas where your skin is thinner and harder pressure on thicker skin, such as the soles of your feet.
