Every year I attend, I leave feeling stretched creatively, inspired professionally, and reminded why I fell in love with this industry in the first place.

For me, this trip is bigger than makeup. It’s about investing in growth, learning from some of the best artists in the world, building community, and placing myself in rooms that challenge me to think bigger about my career.

One of my favorite parts every single year is reconnecting with friends, meeting new artists, and being surrounded by people who are just as passionate about beauty and creativity as I am.

Having community matters a lot to me, especially in this mid 30s career shift I’m in. I can always count on walking the show floor and seeing people I met the year before or even making friends with random strangers.

Because we all love the same thing. And if you’re in a class at TMS, you’re there because you want to achieve MORE. Those are people I can vibe with.

To my fellow makeup artists: never stop investing in yourself, your education, and your dreams.

As artists, especially those of us coming from smaller markets, it’s so important to keep learning, exploring, and exposing ourselves to opportunities beyond what feels familiar.

Experiences like this can truly shift the trajectory of your career. ✨
