The ̇d19 crisis has changed the game in a lot of ways and many leaders have crossed the first hurdles of moving their teams remote: ensuring colleagues have set up their tech tools, defined their processes, and permanently logged into their video conference accounts.
But this is just the first step towards creating an effective work environment for remote employees. The next critical question we must ask is: How do you motivate people who work from home?
and have the answer and written an article on that lays out tips and steps that help you navigate these trying times, and keep you energized and experimenting long after this crisis is behind us.

Friends -
We’re thrilled to announce the birth of Samuel “Sam” McGregor Doshi!
Lindsay sent Neel a calendar invite so he would stop asking, “when is this happening again?” Sure enough, Sam arrived right on time for his May 13th appointment. Neel looked far more stressed than Lindsay about the whole ordeal. Fun fact: Lindsay went into labor during the opening credits of the series finale of Game of Thrones, and decided to finish watching the show before calling the doctor.
💕
So far, Sam loves music, causing Neel to make up lots of goofy songs and dances to make him laugh. He loves visits from his grandparents, aunts, uncles, cousins and family friends. And he loves waking up in the middle of the night to play.
💕
Getting to know him has been far more joyful that we anticipated. We’re so thankful that everyone is happy and healthy, and that we have amazing support around us.
💕
We love all the advice we’ve been getting on how to raise a child with play, purpose and potential - as well as advice on how to help infants sleep through the night! Please do send your favorite tips our way.
💕
Love, Lindsay & Neel

Huge props this week to our agent for a fantastic workshop with Greenwich public schools.
These educators are serious about bringing higher and stronger educational outcomes to the school system.
The hot topics were:
1. How to not lose past learnings amongst high leadership turnover
2. How to enable change within your school by leveraging people's senses of play, purpose, and potential and without any use of emotional or economic pressure
3. How to break down big, lofty goals into concrete, actionable challenges
4. THE WINDY ROAD PRINCIPLE: A team's speed is a function of the quality and frequency of its feedback loops
5. THE SKETCHY BABY PRINCIPLE: Teams should do their work in iterative layers - rather than linear plans or tasks lists - to gather feedback and because the "pencils down" moment could come at any time
Excited to see where your challenges and experiments take you!

Making new friends and everywhere he goes...
If you looked closely on the last post you may have already spotted that, on his way home from England, was on the same flight as ‼️
As they taxied their way to the gate, Mr. Branson stood up, took the intercom from the flight attendant and gave a little thank you speech to all the passengers for flying on his airline and wished them well on their next adventures. (So !!!) 🥰
Simon and Mr. Branson happened to exit the plane together, chatted a bit about and Simon got to snap this cool pic!
