2020 started rough and impossible to bare. Watch my first best friend, the only one on this earth who knew how my heartbeat before anyone else and I knew hers. The womb bond went beyond typical parent child relationship and I always knew that but that one piece of my tribe had go to be released of her pain. My next tribe member couldn't live without her knowing moms heartbeat too. That was another tragic experience in 4 months. So a year later my last tribe member realized he could no longer withstand the agony, pure agony last couple of months....

And just like that .... the last tribe member, a chunk of my heart has moved on. The one and only man I've ever loved from day 1 without meeting or knowing him decided to fly away with his wings. In the silence of the night I can still hear your voice....I hope I never forget the sweetness in your laugher, humor and best tightest hugs. My grandmother's death certainly taught me lessons in human strength. I knew I had to embody my mother's spirit in her absence. But now, there's dad. Everyday was a new challenge since the beginning but from September to now? The job was huge and massive, even too massive for me at times but my sister took care of him with dedication and provided him with so much love. Luckily we were never alone and had help. My dad was the strongest warrior I've ever met. The kindest brave soul, BEST sense of humor, and he gave the most tender kind of love whether we deserved it or not.

What I know is I lost 2 parents in a yr from rare forms of Parkinsons and one with Dementia and the other Alzheimer's. There is so much unknown even in the yr 2021 but I remain hopeful for a cure bc the torture of watch this illness day 1 until the last breath changes you as a person. I hope there will be a day family's never ever know this debilitating pain and loss.
