Whose skin is feeling the weather change? I find that my skin needs way more moisture when the weather changes, especially here in the high desert.

MAY is the month anniversaries for me. TODAY 5/26 is my 23-year Army anniversary. Never in a million years did I think that I would still be serving after all this time. There have been some really rough times, but I love the family I have through my Army journey and I am proud of everything that make up my story.

5/21 was my 10-year Y-anniversary. You know it's so weird, but I pretty sure I wouldn't still be serving if it weren't for Younique. Those rough times I mentioned above brought me to some really low places. Places where I couldn't look people in the eyes, where I was scared of the sound of my own voice and my confidence was kicked to the curb. Y brought me back to life. It gave me a creative outlet to express myself and connect with people I would never met otherwise. I love the community of powerful women I am constantly surround by. Most importantly, it gave me confidence and belief in myself that was missing.

5/30 I turn 45! This is me in my sexy uniform. I only wear skincare as of late, but thanks to Y, I'm feeling so comfortable in my own skin. Life is such a beautiful journey. Make sure you surround yourself with people who uplift and empower you to be who you are meant to be. Unapologetically YOU!

We took the kids to the Santa Express at the Royal Gorge Railway on Friday. It was so much fun and the kids loved it even though it was a few days after Christmas. If anything is was great for us because there was no pressure to make it happen before the holiday and the kids got to tell Santa how he did. It was cute. John Richie
