When my client showed me her inspo pictures ! knew the color she wanted would probably not work without bleach. And she was ok with that!
I ended up doing a single process with 40vol to get her as light as her hair would go and toned her back down with a glaze. She was super happy with the results and so was !!
This is why talking about expectations when it comes to condition is so important!
TWO WAYS YOU CAN AVOID THIS:
Thorough consultation! Take your time getting your clients
hair history and sussing out when they may be omitting information (either on purpose or accidentally!) Set realistic expectations too! (We did that here.) and if there are ANY doubts: test strand!!
LEARN MEMORIZE AND LIVE BY THE COLOR WHEEL! Not only did a good consultation save me, i knew my color wheel!
