Suddenly got the urge to start painting the playroom, so here's the start to probably painting my entire house 😆

I learned to stay quiet for myself - I learned to speak up for them 🤍

I used to stay quiet when it only hurt me. I learned how to swallow things, sit in rooms that didn’t feel safe, and tell myself I was strong for enduring. Motherhood changed that, because it’s not just my heart anymore. It’s theirs, their safety, their innocence, their little eyes learning what love and protection look like. I will never teach them that pain is something you tolerate.

I can carry a lot for myself, but for my children, I become the voice, the boundary, the storm. EVERY SINGLE TIME. For me, it’s all about protecting the little hearts that depend on you.

It’s unfortunate that some people will never understand this kind of love, this depth of devotion. And that's OKAY, I’ve made peace with that.

Hard boiled eggs with old bay hot sauce (I could drink this stuff 🤤) + kinders buttery garlic & herb seasoning. YUM

I love baking all of the things - I love it even more when I can give 75% of it away before I eat it all myself 😆

My mama request something with lemon for her birthday. We made Raspberry Lemon cupcakes topped with cream cheese frosting and candied lemons and a Lemon Raspberry tart! Both turned out good - but there's always adjustments that I want to make after making something for the first time! 🍋🧁

Your relationship is the garden your children grow in. Water it. Date. Laugh in the chaos. The best gift we can give our kids is a front row seat to love that stays — even when life is loud, messy, and far from perfect. Love that shows up. Love that forgives. Love that keeps choosing each other, over and over again. 🤍

I'm all for the easy one pot meals when I don't feel like cooking.

Hopefully I remembered everything I added. I have a bad habit of just adding as I go and NEVER measuring anything. I can't be the only one 😅

I usually start out with some kind of meat, and from there you never know what you're going to get - neither do I hahahhaha.
