God loves you..never forget that. He has never left you...even when you don't feel your best. Don't give up on him because he has never given up on you 😇.

You ever look in the mirror and wonder who you are without lupus? You ever wonder who you could be...who you are suppose to be..who you should have been? I am here to tell you that you are who you are meant to be..with lupus. Lupus is not a death sentence.. lupus is not a way to hinder your life. Lupus is a way to make you take better care of yourself. Just think...if you didn't have it would you be as concerned with your health? I am here to tell you that while there are days I have been sad from the diagnosis...I have been able to combat the effects of lupus by staying in the gym. When I look in the mirror I realize I can control things..I do have power...you also have power. You have the power to decide who you want to be...the body that you are living in is only temporary.....but you can be strong while you are here. You can be amazing while you are here. You are beautiful with the lupus despite it being a pain in the butt. Never give up and control what you can control. 😇😇you got this😁

The gym is my happy place....it is where I go to rest my mind and focus on my health. The gym is where I challenge myself to be better. I cannot control having lupus but I can control getting fit and so can you. There is a big misconception that you can't get in shape with having lupus....but you can. I feel that social media has many women and men feeling inadequate about image and how they look in the public eye. Having lupus in a world full of social media and plastic surgery can make you feel insecure. I am here to let you know that you are beautiful...even with the steroids and meds that you have to take. You are worthy of love..you are worthy of great health. You are worthy of feeling better and staying better. Never give up. You have worth and value and don't let lupus or anything else convince you otherwise. You are loved 😇😇

Sometimes you can feel down when you aren't feeling your best. Some days you may feel depressed when you are not feeling your best. I have learned that lupus can make you feel isolated because you are in your body alone ...experiencing what you are going through alone. When you feel down never stay down ...always find a way to be upbeat. It is worth it to keep a positive mindset. If you have people around you who aren't supporting you don't keep them around. Keeping toxic people in your life when you are going through flares will only make you feel worse. Never give up 😇

Let your light shine..never ever let lupus dull the light on the inside of you. The beauty of you seeing this message today means that you have overcome soooo much in your life. Don't let lupus stop you from being great. You are not your disease. Never give up 😇

Lupus flares can cause you to feel down and really ill. Always know that a flare is temporary and is not forever. I have had lupus for 24 years and have had many down days. Don't let your down days define who you are...you are not your flare and you are not lupus. Never give up. 😇

Life is short..but not taking care of your health can make it shorter. Always keep up with your doctor appointments. It is the only way to stay consistent with your health. There will be times that you don't event feel like going to the doctor...but always know you are taking a valid step towards keeping up with your health. Never ever give up! 😊

Through the tears, fears, doubts and uncertainty I want you to be encouraged and know that this moment in time is temporary. Great things is in store for you and your life. There may be factors around you that make you think that things will never change but they will. Keep your faith and your sanity....this craiziness is not always. The sun will always shine if you dont allow clouds to darken your mind. Love you all.

Hello lovely people. A few weeks ago when everything started with covid I went to the store here in New York and ran into this scene.....I must say that I didn't have any fear when I saw this but what I did feel was a sense of awareness. I felt awareness of God and how he protects and provides for us all. I am often reminded when I face situations like this at the store... is that birds are taken care of and the Lord will provide for us also. There is no lack of concern when it comes to being cared for by the Father.
I have a belief that if you begin to get paranoid things can manifest around that. I see people hoarding and filling there shopping carts to the brim. They are not thinking about anyone else. I remember one day going to 4 different stores in one day just to fill a grocery list of 20 items. It was startling but I took it in stride being as though I actually had the opportunity to go to a store to even make a purchase.
It is the little blessings that I count everyday. You must realize that stress is not good for anyone and it can cause your immune system to break down quickly. Find time to meditate on good words and thoughts at least once a day. Just the fact that you are reading this let's me know that you are alive...and that my friend is a blessing in it self. Be well.
