“The Door of No Return” on Gore’e Island. Very humbling and surreal experience to walk thru the door that so many Slaves passed thru. Learning the History from the Natives of the Island is saddening to hear how the Europeans/Vatican Church and Muslims took advantage of them after they had been conquered by the French.

Went to visit the Slave Port on Gore’e Island and it was an emotional and mixed emotional moment. Angry can’t describe how I felt experiencing what I saw and felt. But it was a necessary experience making my first visit to Africa.

Flew in to meet with Steele Sharpe Consulting to discuss how they can help me scale and market Julia Mae Delights products. Some people have been asking me have I lost weight and if so what have I been doing. Well I drink a lot of alkaline water w/lemons, pickle juice and pickles, smoothies, salads, eat maybe twice a day, and walk between 4 1/2 to 5+ miles 4-5 times a week. The part I’m trying to work on is getting proper sleep/rest which is as important.
