This weekend, Declan—who is a 13th-generation descendant of the Vespucci family of Italian explorer Amerigo Vespucci, for whom America was named—will board the historic Italian training ship, the Amerigo Vespucci, during its visit to Boston.

As our nation celebrates its 250th anniversary, this is an especially meaningful opportunity for Declan to connect with his family’s incredible history and heritage.
