let’s talk color correction 😶

this client came in with color she previously had done from a different stylist and was not what she pictured her hair to look like. in our consultation she wanted a light pink color with a dark root. but she was so unhappy with her color she was okay with coloring it BLACK but i didn’t want to ruin this girls chances of having fun hair in the near future!

one thing with color correction is that you never know what will happen when removing color. I told my client that since i have no idea what this stylist used color wise i couldn’t promise i would be able to get her the pink she wanted in this appointment.

we had the best out come with removing her color! we used a color remover and like that the pink was gone! under her color she wasn’t light enough to get that pink and since this was her second time getting her hair done this week we decided to do a root color and gloss to get her hair healthy and in a few weeks go in and start the process to get her that baby pink!

my client went from coming into the salon with a hood over her hair to walking out with confidence and so happy to have hair she loved!
