The flu has taken me OUT. I truly thought it was a quick little virus, but 5 days later and I’m still running a fever — so behind the chair is a no-go for now. As much as I hate rescheduling (because you know I live for our hair days 💁‍♀️), there is no way I’m bringing this around any of you.

I’ll be personally reaching out to everyone who’s on my books to get you taken care of and back in my chair ASAP.

Thank you for always supporting my small, home-based business, loving my chaos, and giving me grace when life throws a curveball. Between mom life, games, practices, and boss life — this is not the timeout I wanted 😅 — but I’ll be back to glammin’ you all up very soon.

I want to start by saying how incredibly grateful I am for each of you. I feel so blessed to have a successful business, and that is truly because of your continued support and referrals. While I’m beyond thankful, it does mean my availability is more limited — and I know how hard it can be to get on my schedule. Thank you for your patience and understanding. 🤍

If you’re ever hoping to get in sooner, please be sure to utilize the salon’s **waitlist/cancellation list** so you can be notified if an opening comes up.

As we move into the new year, I’ll be continuing to honor my **scheduled business hours**. This helps me provide the best service possible while maintaining balance, and I appreciate your support with this.

I completely understand that before- or after-hours appointments are sometimes needed. Moving forward, any appointments scheduled outside of regular business hours will include a **30% after-hours convenience charge**, which will be added to the service total. Any existing after-hours appointments will also have this charge applied.

I’m writing to inform you of a small adjustment to my service pricing, which will go into effect September 1, 2025. This decision was not made lightly, and I want to be fully transparent about the reasons behind it.

As you may know, the cost of products, tools, and general business expenses has steadily increased over the past couple of years. In order to maintain the level of quality, care, and time you’ve come to expect—and that I believe every client deserves—this update has become necessary.

My goal has always been to provide you with exceptional service and a relaxing, personalized experience. This price adjustment will allow me to continue using professional-grade products, invest in ongoing education, and ensure every appointment meets the high standards I strive for and you've come to expect.

Please note: Any appointments booked before September 1st will be honored at current pricing—even if your appointment is scheduled after that date. The new rates will only apply to appointments booked on or after September 1st.

After a few challenging months, I’m incredibly happy to share some exciting news: *J.Everett Salon' is officially back open – and we can’t wait to welcome you back!

As many of you know, we experienced a fire on February 27th that temporarily closed our doors. It’s been a long journey of rebuilding, restoring, and reimagining our space – and through it all, your support and patience have meant the world.

Dear Valued Clients,

As we move from February into March, I wanted to take a moment to share a few important updates with you. I hope the upcoming spring season brings pleasant weather for all.

On Thursday, February 27th, there was a minor kitchen fire in the house. Thankfully, no one—human or animal—was harmed. While the fire damage itself was minimal, there is extensive smoke and fumes in the building. The salon has not sustained any significant damage, aside from the smell, and the floor will eventually be replaced. At the moment, the environment is somewhat disrupted with the noise of fans and air neutralizing machines.

I will continue to work behind the chair, but I want to offer the option to reschedule any upcoming appointments for those who may prefer to avoid the current conditions. We’re in the early stages of this project, so the process may take some time to complete. If you have an appointment in the next month and would like to reschedule, please don’t hesitate to reach out. I sincerely apologize for any inconvenience this may cause and greatly appreciate your continued support.

Additionally, I wanted to inform you that I have adjusted my availability. After careful consideration, I’ve realized that my body no longer handles long 11-12 hour shifts as it once did. As a result, I will be shortening my hours on certain days, but will be adding additional hours to other days of the week to ensure flexibility for your scheduling needs.

Lastly, I’m excited to announce a new opportunity for savings! You can now receive a 3% discount on your entire salon service when paying with cash. Please note that this discount is applicable only to cash payments and does not extend to payment methods like Venmo, Zelle, or PayPal.
