Nokomis Barbershop

Sorry about bad news on this Thanksgiving day. It’s with heavy heart have bad news. I would like to Thank everyone for there support over last 7 years. Unfortunately there will not be a 8th year. My landlord didn’t renew my lease. So has of today Nokomis Barber is closed. I’m not sure when I’m going be able reopen again. I appreciated the support that everyone gave to the barbershop. I know my Mom enjoyed getting to know all her customers. Thanks again for the support for last 7 years. Right now I’m taking time figuring things out between my mom’s passing and now this. Thank everyone for everything.

Today Nokomis Barbershop lost a good one. It saddens my heart to say Connie Singleton my Mom has passed away earlier this morning. She will be dearly missed.

I would to thank my good friend and customer Liam Scott for this awesome Hair cutting cape. It turned out fantastic. Thanks again my friend.

5 years ago I opened up Nokomis Barbershop. The only other barber in shop is Connie singleton my mother. We have together little over decade. We worked together in another shop before I opened my own. She has been Barbering for 40 plus years. Connie has made had decision today.So with that being said Starting today March 30th 2023 Connie Singleton has made the decision to Retire from Barbering. She will miss all her clients and she appreciates all her clients for the loyalty through out years. I have been very lucky and blessed to work and learn form her. So please be patient with me as I make adjustments to the shop. I’m not replacing her with anyone else. I opened my shop to work with my family. So that being said I will be the only Barber working for this day forward. I appreciate all your business. Thank u for your understanding.

Sorry for late notice. We raised the price of haircuts from 12 dollars to 13 dollars starting January 3 2023.

Nokomis Barbershop would to like wish everyone a Happy and Safe New Years. Thank you to everyone that supported us. We look forward in seeing u in the new year.

We Nokomis barbershop hope everyone made it safely through the hurricane. We looking at reopening Tuesday October 4th with our regular hours. Like everyone we have to take the weekend and clean up the yards.

Wow it’s hard to believe 4 years ago today I opened up this shop. I didn’t know what to expect I didn’t know if I would make it year now its 4 years latter. We appreciate everyone that has helped and supported us. We want Thank u and appreciate your business we look forward to see everyone for many more years to come. Wow 4 years.
