The last two days have been just fabulous! We have been at the inaugural year of the Central Arkansas Homesteading Conference. Great speakers, lots of learning and fellowship. And….got to see and hear Joel Salaton from the front row. Fan girl

So this happened today. We are the proud owners of a pretty new Freeze Dryer.

Good Day! What a blustery winter day. We have been very busy planning and prepping for spring and summer. We are excited about the upcoming growing season. Seeds, onion sets, strawberries, all ordered and on farm. The tunnel is cleaned out and ready to produce again.
We have been prepping the raised beds, they are resting now and getting ready to make food!
We are opening our Farm Shares for the season.
The way this works is, we offer 10 baskets through the growing season. Each basket will be filled with items from our farm. This will be veggies, eggs and usually a pantry item, produced on farm. Most weeks include a recipe as well. You can choose which weeks you get the produce.
We should have veggies ready to start the season by April and run until October.
When it gets really hot.. production does slow quite a bit. We do try to plan accordingly. We will contact you with what is available and you let us know if you want that week’s basket.
The cost for the Farm Share is $225.00. We invoice soon and then we will get to the serious work of growing and providing wonderful produce! If you are interested, please reach out.

We are set up at the Jacksonville Arts and Craft Show, at the Jacksonville Recreation Center. We will be here today until 7:00. Tomorrow 9-4. Come by and see us!

I know it’s November… but look at these flowers…. They will be gone soon… but so beautiful right now!

Picked up all my goods at the state fair. I’m very pleased with the overall outcome. Didn’t win everything, but learned more, made some friends and had a great time.
