Heads up for anyone who didn’t know - all non essential businesses will be ordered closed in Palm Beach County tomorrow. Groceries and gas stations are NOT closing, please don’t panic-shop.
If you need something from a non-essential business, tomorrow morning would be a good time to get it! Hobby supplies, a new video game, sports equipment, car parts (?) and things from the hardware store (?), pool supplies, etc.
It would also be a great time to patronize your favorite small business, give them a quick boost before they have to close down for who-knows-how-long. The sad truth is that many of these small businesses are very likely to close permanently due to this. Show them some love on Friday, just in case it might be the last time they’re open.

With very heavy hearts, we have made the difficult decision to close the physical location of The Beauty Garden PBC. The economic impact of coronavirus has hit our small business hard, and we simply can’t afford to pay our rent.
To put this in perspective - We need seven $45 services per week to make our rent, with no profit, and not covering the replacement cost of materials used. In the last two weeks, we have had only cancellations.
If there is a small business that you love, do what you are able to help support them. The Walmarts will survive, its the local businesses who really need your patronage right now. A few ideas - Order items online or over the phone if they don’t have a website. Get take out from your favorite little restaurant. Buy a gift certificate or subscription for services to be rendered when life returns to normal.
The Beauty Garden will still carry on as selectively-mobile; we will offer some services in our home-based spa area; and we will continues to offer customized plastic press on nails as well as truly custom-built acrylic or gel press ons. Our contact info will not change. We will continue to be active on IG. We haven’t given up, we are just taking a step back! 💪🏼👩‍🦳👩🏿‍🦳 💪🏾

This is important to know, and kind of shocking! Immediately going to ensure that 70% alcohol is being used for disinfecting. We always thought that 91% was as good or better - apparently that isn’t true.
