This is what happens when you have color on your hair that I don't know about.
I lightened his hair twice, but you can see the ends are still not as light as the root area, therefore the silver color he wanted, although still looks great, this one spot right in front just wouldn't take the color like the rest of his hair did.
This is why it's so important to tell me about any color you have done to yourself in between appointments with me. Had I known he colored part of his hair brown, I could've taken steps beforehand to rid the color as much as possible before attempting to lighten it.

This first time guest had grown out and brassy highlights. She wanted to tone down the color and make it a prettier, darker shade. Added some layers and she is ready for the holiday season!
