The Nail Hut

I don't know how many of you are aware, I haven't been posting and finally feel like it. This summer on July 3rd,I had a medical emergency and had to be taken to the hospital. I ended up spending 2 months in hospitals. I was later diagnosed with a rare subtype of Non Hodgkins lymphoma, I was unaware there are about 200 subtypes so they had to find out which I was. I also was diagnosed with something called HLH, it's extremely rare and without treatment, life expectancy is 1-2 months. I had to go to Nashville to Sarah Cannon, it's a cancer center and research hospital. Over the course of 2 months I almost died 3 times, lost the ability to walk. I am now able to walk with a walker but do have to use a wheel chair more often than I'd like. With everything that happened, I left the hospital with 34 diagnosis. I've had to close the shop and retire from nails. I'll keep the page so the pics are still here in case anyone wants to use them with their nails. I've loved doing nails for 38 years but I was working way too much, and God had a way to wake me up and stop killing myself working so much and not having time for any life other than behind the table. I will be trying to educate people about cancer later, but my passion now is HLH. It's so fast to kill and I don't think it's as rare as they say. I just think maybe undiagnosed, children are the most common impacted other than cancer patients.
