The best part is when your regulars know the routine so they pull their lip to keep us from applying the lip treatment to conclude the facial 😂😂😂😂

Meanwhile me at 10 PM:
still working on tomorrow while everyone else is asleep. 😅

POV: The books were fully packed, nobody peed, lunch never happened, but somehow we survived.

She didn’t grow up with much. Not the right house. Not the right zip code. Not the invitations.

There were places she wasn’t welcomed and tables she wasn’t invited to sit at.

But God has a funny way of using the things that were meant to make you feel small to build something beautiful.

Now, I understand that kindness costs nothing. People matter more than appearances. And no matter how far life takes me, I never want to forget where I came from.

Because that little girl is the reason this woman never leaves anyone out. 🤍

The real question is how long before we started acting like cousins at Thanksgiving 🤣
