I’m proud knowing that the things I use on my skin come from me. From the soaps I use on my body, to the moisturizers on my skin, to the creams and oils I put in my hair… I really am a DIY girlie through and through.

Not only does it save money, but it gives me peace of mind knowing exactly what’s going on my skin. I don’t have to second guess ingredients or wonder if a product actually cares about the people using it. The amount of products I’ve eliminated just by learning how to make my own is honestly wild.

As the founder of C&K Essentials, I want people to know my products are made with intention. I have two beautiful girls with completely different skin needs, so trust me when I say skincare in this house is personal. I’d honestly be surprised how many skincare CEOs actually use their own products outside of marketing campaigns and photo shoots.

I didn’t come from money. I wasn’t the girl who could keep up with every skincare trend or buy whatever product was popular at the time. My journey started with homemade lemon sugar scrubs trying to help my KP, layering lotion and baby oil over my eczema, wondering why my skin was still dry, itchy, and uncomfortable an hour later.

I know what it feels like to be discouraged from wearing shorts. To avoid short sleeves. To feel uncomfortable in your own skin while trying everything you can think of just to get relief. So when it comes to real skin struggles… trust me, I get it.

And yes, of course I want to be successful. I want to build wealth, create freedom, and give my girls a better life. But don’t ever think for one second that money is the only thing I care about.
