Out of respect for her, I didn’t take any before videos, but she came in really nervous and upset about some deep purple under eyes she’s never been able to fully cover. She opened up about some personal things she’s been going through lately and shared that she hasn’t felt pretty in a long time. She wasn’t originally on the schedule, but I made space because I just knew I needed to do her makeup.

We laughed, we cried, and we talked through so many stories. Her reaction at the end honestly made me emotional too, but I kept it light and tried to make her smile and feel comfortable the whole time.
