Cedar plank Salmon in the fireplace.
Soak the plank for an hour or more
Make the marinade, while the plank is soaking.
lemon, Celtic salt, fresh basil 🌿 ( I grind mine up in the blender) and I mixed with Ghee and applied to half of fish, the other half is a teriyaki, then applied chopped pecans (soaked pecans first) to the entire piece.
Then put in the fire and bake roughly 20-25. I usually cook my fish to an internal temperature of 140 degrees.
Enjoy
A great side is roasted veggies, tonight’s selection is fennel, broccoli and carrots, with light olive oil and Celtic salt.
Would love to know how this turns out for you.

Reflection & Preparation
As the 2020 year comes to a close, I find myself wanting to slow down and reflect on this past year. . .
This helps me to evaluate where I have been and where I am wanting to go in 2021.
Another tool that helps me accomplish this is to look back at my calendar and reviewing each month, it also helps me prepare for upcoming taxes as I write everything down in my calendar/planner. I know old school.
Leonie Dawson an Australian author and designer of “my shining year” workbook which you can order from her online: [email protected]
She has a closing ceremony for the year. . . She suggests that to create our next year we have to be complete with the year that has passed. These are a few of my favorite questions to ponder from Dawson’s closing ceremony.
When you look back on 2020, what do you immediately think of?

What dreams came true during 2020?
What beautiful lessons did you learn during 2020?

What transformed you this year? . . .
These are a few of the sample questions. She has an amazing workbook for the coming year to help you create your best year. A friend turned me on to her in 2013 and just love the workbook.
And this year I am excited to add the 5RHYTHMS dance( by Gabrielle Roth) with Ann Kite to my New Years Eve Ritual. . .
Ann Kite is having an online (Zoom)5RHYTHMS dance at 10:30pm-12:30am EST
Ann is asking us to look at the 2020 year and see what we want to let go of and what is beneficial for us to keep and then bring it to the dance floor and then let it go...
In the dance. More information look at www.annkite.com
Thought I would share a few things that I’ve enjoyed to help me clear out the old year and welcome the new year with open arms, a clean slate, and an open heart. Much love and many blessings to you all.
