Lip Blushing is such a fun and beautiful procedure. Initially, the pigment is bold and bright. As you heal a soft hue of color come through to give you the perfect pigment that just needs a bit of lip balm on top for an effortless, put together look. Each color is customized and picked by the client and artist.

Healthy skin is the number one determinate of a great procedure. Working on clean, sun protected skin is always going to yield the best results. Excessive sun damage over time is one of the hardest canvases to work on.

Other factors that’s lead to great healed result:

A great artist: Do your due diligence. Research your artist. Look at their work. Read the content they create for their audience. Check out their booking sites, location, website, Instagram. You have a brain and intuition, use it baby!

Strict Aftercare: Once you know you trust your artist, listen to them! After care doesn’t stop after the first week. Make sure you are caring for your Permanent Makeup by using anti-aging products appropriately. Love love a retinol, an acid, and a laser, you know what doesn’t? Your permanent makeup. So apply products carefully and always use sun protection!

Realistic expectations: Please know if you come into our office and pull out a photo of yourself from 30 years ago it’s a red flag 🚩 If you tell us you never want to touch your make up again (and you fancy) 🚩 Make sure you have realistic expectations about what your healed results will be. I tell every client, every time, I am not fully replacing your makeup, but our goal is to get you to the point that without make up you look and feel finished, put together, and beautiful. If you want a pomade, cut out, Kylie Jenner eyebrow with a bright red, over lined bold lip… do it! With your makeup, that you can wash off 😉

Healed results are everything. Before you choose an artist make sure that you have seen photos of their healed results. Healing looks different on every person, brow, and skin type. Your brows will never heal as bold and dark as they are when you leave our office. Brows soften and lighten as you heal.
