Locally owned barbershops play an important role in providing jobs, keeping money circulating within local economies, and help to stimulate growth. Barbershops also create a promising pathway into entrepreneurship and inherently support other entrepreneurs from different arenas. Where else will you be able to get a haircut, buy a hot plate, and a piece of artwork? Only at the barbershop!

Barbers are the true connects in their communities and are championing critical missions to address the challenges they see impacting their neighborhoods. Initiatives across the country have learned to partner with barbershops as a strategy to connect with residents where they don’t already have the relationships and trust built. From programs that promote youth literacy, to health outreach and more - barbershops are finally being recognized for their ability to fill gaps and develop solutions in non-traditional, culturally-specific ways. We are proud to support multiple initiatives to shed light on the challenges that many people face when trying to access quality hair care services and the barbershop space - an experience that everyone deserves.

We wish all of our friends and supporters a healthy and happy new year, and hope to be able to bring to mobile out to support some of our favorite initiatives this year.
