My client loved their leather couch but the cushions were cracked out the w***o so they decided to pattern mix the plaid for new cushions to then sit on the leather base of the couch. It’s giving Americana cottage core.

The leather studded trim used as the band for these box cushions- brilliant!

Project for Eileen Johnston!

I made this patchworked patio set for my boyfriend’s birthday back in April. I used scraps from previous projects that probably otherwise would have ended up in a landfill. ♻️☀️💛 They are like little time capsules of previous outdoor projects. I had a fun time stretching my sewing skills to get all the seams of the patch working lined up as perfectly as possible.

I got new foam cut for the seats & used an outdoor down alternative pillow as the back cushion.

The lucky thing about gifting these to Q Karney is that I get to sit in them with him to enjoy meals, coffees, and time together with each other & our friends. 💛

Transformation to the hot pink velvet bench of all of our dreams 🪄💖

My client found this pink velvet in the remnants bin at The Fabric Factory & we were able to make it work for this project by turning the cushion into a box cushion with a band. I like the defined shape this restyling gave the bench.

Turned out the bench was in pretty rough shape once I stripped it down. I ended up webbing it, replacing the foam with new, adding a layer of cotton, adding double cord around the edge, and replacing the nailheads with new.

Can you believe my client found the original IKEA fabric for these chairs on eBay?! This fabric was originally printed in around 2008 & was designed by Swedish artist Cilla Ramnek for IKEA.

🪄 being able to get these chairs back to the way they had been designed has been super cool!

I guess you could just buy pillows from the internet or from big box stores that thousands of other people have… I mean I guess you could. 🤷‍♀️ OR, you could have a custom pillow made from the exact fabric you’ve been dreaming of.

My client bought this remnant from The Fabric Factory & I made the pillow.

Unique, locally sourced, locally & handmade, cool as hell.
Don’t buy cheap crap from the internet… be different!

Took these patio cushions from the tan & depressing fabric that everyyyyyone has & made them f*cking cool! I can guarantee ya that no one else has patio cushions like these! Even your patio can be uniquely you.

The cording is made with a fabric from another project I did for this client’s patio. I’ll post a photo soon of it all put together 💖☀️

Behind the scenes of the creation of Party! because it’s been a year since Krista and I opened the experience in collaboration with Factory Obscura!
It all feels like a big dream ☁️🥳🌈🤩🪄 but it was absolutely a dream come true.
Thankful beyond words for everyone that helped in the making of PARTY! & for everyone that came through to enjoy it with us. 💛💖

Custom rocking chair cushions off to a nursery in Texas!
These cushions were brought to me across state lines & we decided to completely restyle them. I feel like rocking chair cushions from this time period just have the weirdest lumpy stitching that’s unnecessary and… in my opinion, not cute. So we updated these by making the seat cushion a box cushion with a band and a pop of coordinating hot pink velvet cording. The back cushion I added a bottom zipper to, took out the outdated lumpy stitching, used the same coordinating velvet cording as the seat and made the buttons hot pink velvet to match! Instead of snaps I made ties to hold the cushion on the rocker as well since I didn’t have the rocker in the studio and I think tying bows added a feminine touch.
