When all the hair doesn’t fit in the frame, whew! 😅
I’ve been off work with my health being a jerk again, so I’m torturing myself by going through 2021’s pretty hair photos I haven’t posted yet. Enjoy!

Well, this was a super fun challenge! I want to say bring on more floral ideas, but whew I’d be lying if I said I didn’t break a sweat. 😅

Online booking is on, but availability may be a temporary issue. Please bear with me, as I’m still catching up, and Asher having a close exposure this week on top of all that mess threw a teeny tiny wrench in those plans. We’ll all get back on schedule one of these damn days!
Meanwhile, we can bask in the glory of this color that still needs juuust a bit of adjusting, which Bekah here has been oh-so-patient in waiting a bit for. (whispers: girl, I’m sorryyyyyyy) We’d envisioned a bit darker in the roots, and while I love the rosy color, I should have hit those ends with a quick bleach wash in the bowl. Fourteen years doing hair this month, and I’m glad to say I haven’t stopped learning!
Hopefully I remember to document it when we do get around to correcting it. 😅🤔

This color had me obsessed! 🤤 We opted not to lighten her roots, put Raven over her natural and extended down an inch or two onto the prelightened faded blue. Then the ends are Enchanted Forest + Pro Serpentine Green + Raven

Update!
Everybody has been so patient with me and so thoughtful as I’ve been going through quite possibly the worst time in my history of chronic illness.
Asher was due for a back-to-school color touchup, so he got to be my guinea pig for getting back behind the chair. It was tough, I’m not gonna lie, but doable. Right now, I’m limited to about one color per day or maybe three cuts max, so it’s going to take me a while to get caught up.
Online booking is turned off for the time being to make sure all my appts are dedicated to people who have been on hold while I’ve been out of the studio. As always, if anyone needs in sooner than I’m able to get caught up, the gals over at can get you taken care of!
Cheers! P

Hello, loves! I am out of the salon until further notice. 😒 The ol’ covid-19 got me three-ish weeks ago. I had been on the rebound and back to work for a few days…until it set off my dysautonomia. Right now, I’ll be taking things day by day as far as my schedule goes. If you have an appointment that will be affected, I’ll be reaching out shortly if I haven’t already. If you need in before I can accommodate, I completely 100% understand, and all my gals over at are total badasses. Feel free to reach out if you need a referral!
Cheers,
Peyton

Stole ’s selfie because I’m STILL a forgetful gal. Getting to this color from a lot of saturated red and orange was a fun challenge, not to mention rinsing out the red root color without bleeding down into the blonde. It only took two sessions, and we got it there just in time for summer!

My gal Stephanie booked my creative freedom color option a bit back, and I’ve been looking forward to getting to play today anyway. Now I’m extra excited this was my first color service after Christmas so I could test my new ring light in action! Maybe, just maybe, I’ll get my act together and actually start sharing work more often again. 😅

I spent all day with this lovely new-to-me head of hair yesterday. I so wish I had taken a before photo, because this was such a fun and challenging project!

Fellow corrective color nerds, imagine with me: 4” of natural regrowth at about a level 6, followed by anywhere from 2”-10” of level 3 permanent color from a previous rooty balayage, then the remainder of the mid lengths and ends is a warm dimensional level 7-9 with existing breakage. The goal is a dimensional metallic purple as pictured.

How would you tackle it?

Look, guys, I do actually still do hair! 😹 One of the biggest compliments is seeing clients’ new-hair selfies pop up in my feed. Makes my little ol’ heart do a happy dance every time. 💕
