y’all, this week was rough 🥵 like a few nights this week... two of these dudes were up for a couple hours at the same time😴

I felt like one of those cartoon characters with toothpicks holding their eyes open all week🤣

Buuuuut ask me if I want more babies I’d totally say, “1000 times yes!”

last Saturday we celebrated my sweet Luke’s 7th birthday 🥳😭😭

This year for his birthday he asked me to bake his birthday cake 🥵 he told me exactly how he wanted it — all three tiers 😅

Bottom layer: chocolate cake with chocolate frosting
Middle layer: vanilla cake with chocolate frosting
Top layer: vanilla cake with vanilla frosting all with sprinkles everywhere

Oh I forgot to mention he also asked for a plants vs zombies theme cake 🙈😂😂

I did it y’all!👩🏽‍🍳🤣

12 years ago today, Frank surprised me at my sister’s house in Nebraska❤️

He drove from Texas to see on Valentine’s Day 😭

A few days later he told my sister, “I’m going to marry Jenny.”

We hadn’t even been dating very long and I wasn’t sure we should be dating since we were living multiple states away from one another.

Anyway, he’s always said, “When you know, you know.”

We gotta know, do you guys celebrate Valentine’s Day?? You know we do because Frank really is a big softy under his caveman exterior😍😂

One year ago today, we found out we were having a baby😭

It started differently than my first two pregnancies. I had a lot of cramping and bleeding.

I was so scared something would go wrong and I would have a miscarriage.

Have you ever been thrilled AND scared about something? That’s exactly how I felt.

I had so much anxiety it was stealing my joy. I remember crying and asking God to help me. To help me be joyful, not fearful.

I kept repeating this verse “He will cover you with his feathers, and under his wings you will find refuge; his faithfulness will be your shield...” Psalms 91:4

Love the sweet reminder Psalms 91 gives me. God loves me, protects me, and is for me. Even when I’m lacking in faith, He is faithful🙌🏽🤍

p.s. y’all, I told Frank I missed being pregnant 😳🤣 did you like being pregnant too? Or not sure much?..

Who would’ve thought that my infertility journey would have lead me to cleaner beauty products💋

January recap💫.
Last Friday, we celebrated my sweet hub’s 35th happy birthday 🥳 yes, I gifted him a onesie 🤣 (for my birthday Frank bought me a tie-dyed onesie😂)

A few days before that on the 25th, our sweet baby, John, turned 5 months old 🥺😭

In some ways I felt as though January flew bye and in others I felt as though it lasted foreverrrr, 😅 anyone else!?

are Sundays crazy for you too?!

As soon as I wake up. I hit the ground running. Get everyone fed, dressed, and try to make it to church in time😅
Then out to brunch(not every Sunday, but most! It’s our thing.) Once we get home, everyone changes, I do laundry/ pick up the house a bit then remember I didn’t pull anything out for dinner so I scramble to whip something together🤦🏽‍♀️
Sundays are just busy. How are yours??!

P.s. y’all, remember when Sundays were relaxing!? We’d sleep in, go to the late service then chill on the couch all afternoon😍... remember those weekends?!!

We got to slow down & spend a lot of time together! (some days were rough 🤣 but seriously, I’m so thankful for all the time Frank got to be home with us)
