Now let’s talk haircutting.

I came across this haircut, and rather than focusing on who did it, I want to focus on what it tells us as an industry.

One thing I’ve learned along the way as a hairstylist and an instructor is that many stylists struggle with haircutting not because they don’t care, not because they’re not talented, but because they were never given a solid system to follow.

Just like color has formulas, haircutting has formulas. Sectioning matters. Elevation matters. Over-direction matters. Body position matters. Even the shears you’re using matter.

Sometimes the right stylist changes everything….

When this beautiful client reached out to us, she was feeling discouraged after receiving a haircut that didn’t match her vision. After a thoughtful conversation, sharing inspiration photos, and discussing her concerns, we knew exactly who she needed to see: Christina.
