The Gypsyparlor

We made this a policy 3 years ago. We do not get paid by the hour. We only make money on our services. A few of our girls rely on babysitters to come to work, so when you don't show, theyre actually in the negative. We understand life happens but this policy is widely used in most salons, offices and with other appointments. Imagine going into work, just to be told by your boss that $200 would be deducted from your pay, or that today you came in for nothing, but still have to pay a babysitter and got ready for work, for literally nothing. Thats the same thing.
I have seen the disappointment on my stylists faces when this happens and thats why I will enforce this policy. Thankfully, most clients understand this policy and are very respectful of it. If you dont feel comfortable putting a credit card on file, the online booking link allows you to prepay for your appointment or you can always stop by and grab a gift certificate as well.
All new bookings require a cc on file.
Anyways, we love our clients and appreciate the continued support.
