🚨LONG POST ALERT

While I was away on maternity leave, I had to make a solid decision to close my salon. I had been in a constant battle with the landlord of the property for not wanting to fix a issue that I had been dealing with for a while…So when it rains…(like thunderstorms)…the salon floods. At first I thought the storms were just really bad and water was seeping underneath the door but turns out it was a roofing problem on the building that existed way before I even signed a lease for this space.

This has been a major inconvenience for myself, my stylists, my clients and my pockets. The amount of money I lost is crazy…from damaged flooring to damaged equipment/furniture.

I could really go deep into detail about my horrible experience over here but I won’t. However I do suggest if you come across this vacant suite…RUN! It’s not worth it. My advice to anyone wanting to rent/lease a commercial space is to TALK TO THE CURRENT TENANTS FIRST! They will tell you the real!

So now, slowly returning from maternity leave…I literally have nowhere to do hair and I’ve been forced to figure out my next move!

Saying all this to say…BUT GOD!! Sometimes we don’t always understand the situations we are put in or why they were even allowed. Even though this was an unfortunate situation, there is still a blessing in this journey and this outcome!

Hopefully soon I will be able to find something that is MINE! Something I may even own! But for now God has given me time to raise my son and instructions not rush into anything but I believe the blessing is on the way! All I have to do is pray, sit and obey! He’s a provider and everything is working out for my good 🙏🏽🙌🏽🥹

P.S. This is not a retirement post (YET 🤭😂) just letting y’all know I don’t have anywhere to do hair yet. If you require any wig services please refer to my last post!

💗First things first! I miss y’all 🥹🥹💖💖 THANK EACH AND EVERYONE OF YOU THAT CALLED, TEXTED, PRAYED OR JUST SIMPLY SAID KIND WORDS! My delivery was successful and my baby boy is beautiful and thriving! With my new bundle of joy, I’ve decided to slowly get back into the swing of things.

💗Starting December 5th, I will start back taking wig orders and wig services ONLY. This can include wig maintenance, reconstruction, closure/frontal replacement, wig coloring or just styling. If you need a wig made I can do that also!

💗Right now I’m unable to do any braid downs or installs so the wig services will be drop off and pickup only. The turnaround time will be 5-7 days and of course if I finish sooner you can pickup sooner!

💗For those of you that usually get sew ins, silk press, shampoo and styles etc. unfortunately I’m not able to tap back into that yet due to unforeseen circumstances. However I haven’t forgot about you and I have awesome recommendations until I return fully!

Last day for appointments will be August 31st! If you need any appointments please book on the website or text me for available spots! If you have wigs and want them refreshed, re-made, styled or etc. feel free to drop them off for maintenance!

While on maternity leave I’ll be posting wigs for sale! Depending on how my body heals and my schedule with little man I may slowly return maybe one or two days out the week! I will definitely keep you guys updated!!
