Hello to all my alluring people.
Well…this year was supposed to start with lots of new things and excitement.
We had a great December in our new salon. The move to our new private location has been wonderful and well received. It has been a lot of fun and we are very happy here. ❤️
Which brings me to the saddest news….my lil girl Maxie has passed away on Monday January 9th, her kidney disease got bad very fast. She was 10 yrs and 4 months old. She loved her life always to the fullest. Woke every day with yoga and stretches and excitement for the day.
She was a great friend, companion for all our travels and adventures.
She was a great girl til the end and worked her last day with me last Friday. She loved coming to work with me and seeing all of her fans. She loved everyone and the attention she received from you all.
It’s very hard to work without her but I’m making it. It’s very hard to find my new normal but I will. As you all know it’s not my first loss…I’ve had so many that you’d think I’d handle things easier but I don’t. I love everyone I’ve lost with everything I have so it’s hard to let go.
Thank you to everyone that has offered such sweet and kind words about her. It means so much to me to have your love, kindness and support.
Some have asked if they can do anything, there’s really nothing to be done. But you can love your babies more and think about making a donation in Maxie’s name to a pet charity of your choice.
I’ll be getting a memorial brick in her name for the Lacey dog park, which Chance was one of the first 50 to be memorialized there.
Thank you all again….it means so much that you cared about her and me so much.
With love,
Cyndi
The pic of the girl in grey with Maxie is her auntie Christina. ❤️

Hi to all my Alluring people!
Well….today is my last day here at this location! 😳
15 years, almost to the day that I signed the lease. It’s been so great to see all of you here. Thank you all for supporting me and for coming to all my parties here.
I will be continuing to do hair, but just in a new private salon location.
I’m taking all my lovely clients with me. I’m still only taking referrals by my trusted people, as I want to continue to be stay safe.
*For that reason I will not be posting my address here or on my cards.
Just my numbers to reach me by.
It will be a new, fun, safe and sanitized salon, as everyone knows I may obsess a bit on safety.
I think you all will love my new space. It’s fun and sassy with a cute vintage flair. It’s smaller space than I had at the old Allure but it has plenty of room to make it special as The new Allure Hair Salon.
More importantly….Maxie loves it and has already started to entertain her fan club there. 🐾
If you have any questions, definitely call me and we can chat about things.
I’m looking forward to next week, as November 29th is my first official day at my new location.
Thank you all, as always for your continued love, help, advice and support. I couldn’t do anything without you. ❤️
Maxie and I appreciate and love you all. ❤️.
See you soon,
Love Cyndi and Maxie
🙋🏼♀️ Hello my alluring people!
I hope you all are doing well and staying healthy and enjoying our nice weather.
I have some exciting news to share. Many of you already know that I will be closing my current salon at the Parkmont Lane address by the end of this year.
I will be working there up til Thanksgiving, then I will be making you look fabulous in my new private salon.
‼️ I will not be posting the address here or want anyone to put the address out to the general public. I’m letting each of you know personally and giving you the new address then.
I’ve been in this location 15 years and 37 years doing hair and it’s time for a change. This is the perfect time to downsize my space a bit. At this time, I’m not taking new clients except by referral and only if I have time open. I pre book almost everyone so my time does get booked up quickly.
I’ve always worked in a public salon and this one will be more private with no signage. It will have my eclectic vintage flair that everyone is used to with a lil bit of glam. 💁🏼♀️
I will still be practicing and following all rules and laws in regards to licensing, safety and sanitation and being insured. All 4 of my licenses will remain current. I will still be selling JOICO products.
I look forward to seeing you soon for my OPEN HOUSE at my new location, on Saturday, October 15th at 11-4pm.
If you can’t make it then, it’s totally ok, then you will be surprised when you do get to see it the first time.
I will be having my cousin Shelley there that day also, selling her vintage re-designed costume jewelry. Many of you already know her, she is looking forward to seeing you all. Floyd is also making an appearance.
As always…..I thank all of you for your continued support and friendship. You have always been there for me and encouraging of me to follow what makes me happy. I’m very thankful for you. ❤️
Call or text me if you need anything or have questions.
With love and licks,
Cyndi and Maxie
Happy summer everyone!
Well…..in Covid news…😩. People are still getting Covid every day it seems. I’ve had five people last week alone, cancel , one wasn’t Covid related. It seems like there’s an uptick again in infections.
Just a friendly reminder to be safe and careful in crowds, markets anywhere really. It’s such a trickle down effect the way it spreads.
As you all know, I’m continuing to require masks inside my salon. I work very close to people all day long and just can’t afford to get sick. So, I will be requiring masking for awhile longer. Indefinitely.
Mostly everyone has been lovely about masking and being safe. I get a few complaints but it won’t stop me from inforcing rules on safety. 😳
Almost everyone is thankful for my pushing safety. 😬
But ….I will continue doing MY thing til I feel safer.
Just wanted to let everyone know that not much had changed. I’ll still have everyone sanitize or wash hands and keep some distance when possible.
So, go enjoy your summer, friends and family, just be as safe as you can be.
Maxie and I wish you all a very healthy, happy summer.
Take care❤️🐾
Cyndi and Maxie.

Well….here we are , Spring. 🌷🌷🌷I hope this finds everyone healthy and optimistic. We sure need some positive energy.
I’m continuing to ask ALL to mask and to come in ONLY if they are completely healthy. It is not worth my risk or the risk to many others I see, to unmask at this point. 😷
At some point….when I feel more comfortable and if the numbers remain low, I may give people an option to not mask. I am not there yet.
I hope you all understand that I take my responsibility to make people safe seriously. 🥰
Tho, people that are UN-vaccinated will still be required to mask, regardless of any changes I make with masking in the future. 😷
I, fortunately have a very low number of unvaccinated people that come in, half of them infrequently.
You can bring in drinks, just takes sips and put mask back on. There is no longer a capacity limit but I still feel more comfortable with low numbers inside. I will continue to lock the door, mainly on account of people looking for other businesses nearby. It’s unnerving when people I don’t know burst in and disrupt me.
I will still be cleaning and sanitizing all day, which is part of the many rules with licensing we agree to follow as cometologists. I don’t need to do the extreme cleaning I was before but it’s hard to let that go.
I will still continue to ask everyone to wash hands or sanitize.
Sooooo….with all that new and old news….I hope you all have a super great day and embrace the positive changes out there. Find your happy thought or spot and BREATHE.
I care so much about all of you, THANK YOU for your continued support, encouragement, friendship and laughter. I wouldn’t or couldn’t be here without all of you! 🥰
Maxie says to give everyone her love and licks! 🐾❤️
Here’s Maxie today at Tumwater Falls, she’s such a poser!
Love,

Maxie and her friend want to wish everyone a barking great Holiday!
Happy Holidays to you all ! I hope this finds you happy and healthy!
It’s hard to believe we’ve made it this far in this pandemic and it kinda feels like we haven’t gotten very far at all.
I sincerely hope that 2022 will bring us all more hope and happiness than this year has brought. Try to stay positive and find cheer where you can. Choose kindness over all the ugliness out there.
I am still practicing all the protocols for safety and sanitation in regards to Covid and WA state laws.
***Masks that fit tightly to your nose are required by all. ***
There are no exceptions. If you think you have breathing issues, please consult your doctor. That is not something I can help you with.
No one will be allowed in with any cold, flu, coughing or fevers…or anything associated with being sick.
***Anyone exposed to Covid needs to let me know ASAP so we can reschedule your appt.***
Please, do your part to stop the spread and keep people safe.
I’m not taking new clients without a referral from someone I know. My schedule can be quite full so I will try to fit you in as time allows.
I don’t not make any appts on FB so please don’t try.
If you leave a message on my work number 360-534-9288 ,
I will get back to you soon.
If you’d like a referral to a hairstylist that I trust , then leave that request in your message.
As always, thank YOU ALL for your continued support, guidance, help, positivity, encouragement and friendship and so much more.
You have been my light thru all this ……darkness.
I’m very lucky to have you all in my life.
Thank you sincerely ❤️
Cyndi and Maxie
I
Happy summer everyone!
Well……here we are again. MASKS! FOR EVERYONE !
Masks are now required to enter the salon for everyone.
Sorry to announce the mask is back! I actually went back to masking everyone a few weeks ago. It just didn’t feel safe anymore. I made it four whole weeks before going back to feeling safer.
As of last week our county has now gone back to masking everywhere.
By the way, it is legal for any business to make rules for their business, regardless of mandates. I’ve had questions about this so wanted to clarify.
I will not see anyone at all, without a mask on both of us.
So, please don’t ask to be the exception.
My goal since the beginning has been to stay healthy and safe and encourage everyone else to be that way too. My people mean way too much to me and I do not want to make anyone ill or worse.
Remember, come in only if your are healthy with absolutely NO symptoms of anything, cold, flu, unusual coughs or headaches…
Please continue to be vigilant and make smart choices. We are not over this craziness yet. My hope is we can get this under control again and move forward.
Thank you ALL , for your continued positivity, love and support.
I could not get thru this without you. Stay strong my friends. ❤️
Cyndi and Maxie
Hello Everyone!
New updates to our rules concerning visiting the salon.
As of July 1, 2021. Rules.
FULLY VACCINATED people (two weeks past date of last shot)
can enter salon WITHOUT A MASK.
UNVACCINATED people will still be required to WEAR A MASK,
while inside the salon.
It is legal for me to ask and have you show me proof of status.
This is not illegal and is not affecting any HIPPA laws, as I am not medical.
Young people that are not fully vaccinated are required to wear a mask.
I will still have everyone wash hands or sanitize them before starting appointments. I no longer need to take temperatures.
I am asking you to come in healthy and not sick with anything.
If you have any symptoms of anything, you may be asked to reschedule your appointment.
I can not afford to get sick or worse, make one of my other clients sick with something.
Also…Incase you’ve wondered, if you make me sick, I have to close the salon and get tested to see that I am not contagious for Covid.
I’ll have to call everyone I’ve come in contact with and quarantine for 10 days, if I am sick. That is not something I want to ever HAVE to do.
So, please, my amazing people….be considerate to me and everyone .
This has been a very hard time for everyone and it’s still not over.
We all need to stay strong, smart and healthy.
Thank you again to everyone! You all have continued to be so great and supportive of me. Thank you for choosing ME. ❤️
Love you all!
