Let me start with FORMULATION MATTERS MOST! No matter which brand or % you choose, the ingredients making up the formula heavily influences how your skin may react to any single product.

Here is generalized knowledge of how and why retinol and retinal can work differently for individuals. Most over-the-counter retinols, majority of our clients cannot tolerate more than 2-3x a week, whereas with a retinal, tolerability is higher for most individuals (in our experience). Consistency matters most so choose a product you can use daily or often!
