day 6 of our 3 week road trip 🚐

today we drove through lassen volcanic national park on our way to lake tahoe

we stopped to see the bubbling sulphur mudpots, found way more snow than we were expecting, and took in some pretty incredible views along the way ❄️

next stop: lake tahoe 🏔️🤍

quick 15 minute reset makes the rest of the day feel SO much less chaotic ✨

day 5 of our 3 week road trip 🚐

today was mostly a driving day, but we made one very special stop along the Oregon coast. it brought back so many memories because the last time we were here, Toby 🐶 was with us. while it was emotional, it felt really good to be back 🤍

we missed the gondola at Trees of Mystery by 18 minutes 😭, the kids finally crashed after a full day of happy screams, and by midnight we found ourselves parked in a empty cul-de-sac in redding lol

sometimes road trips don’t go exactly as planned… & that’s all part of the adventure

next stop: lake tahoe 🏔️

day 4 of our 3 week road trip 🚐

today was a slower day at camp

while mason spent the afternoon riding through the dunes, the twins and I stayed back, played blocks, sang songs, played in the dirt, went for a little walk, and ended the night with a movie 🤍

day 3 of our 3 week road trip 🚐

today we visited the oregon coast aquarium, found a huge beach that we practically had all to ourselves, and ended the day setting up camp in wi******er bay w/ a Cove Soda

we’ll be calling this place home for the next two nights 🤍

the sunset at haystack rock was definitely a highlight of the day
