Our conference aims to deepen the understanding of how adoption, guardianship, foster care, and kinship care can impact the lives of children now and in the future. This event is open to the entire adoption constellation, including professionals and families navigating post-adoption or guardianship challenges. Happy American Business Women’s Day 2024!

As business owners for more than 20 years, Nikki and I know the challenges that women face in business. It is an absolute honor to have made it happen this long. By the grace of God we have sustained through some crazy times, including the economic crash of 2008, and not being able to operate by the state during Covid. Not to mention banks not taking us seriously in the beginning in 2004 when we opened.

We know that we have an incredible culture in our salon and we are so blessed to have been entrusted with this business.

I truly am so honored to be able to speak and share our story of adoption with the organization Heart of a Child Ministries with students all over the area. Looking back 2 decades ago when my business partner and I decided to join forces and open our vision was to create a place where creativity could thrive with a strong foundation in education. If I knew now what all we were going to go through I don’t know as if I would have signed up. But having gone through it all, it has only strengthened my faith and endurance, built a greater love for my industry, and you can say I ‘grew up’. And for anyone who has ever worked for me….I’d do it all again for you. And to my business partner, I’m so glad it was you. 🤍🤟🏼
