I didn’t know this was my dream. I didn’t know that I’d be THIS passionate about hair and makeup.
Maybe this long post seems silly, it’s just curls and lipstick, right? I’ve never seen it that way. Really, it’s not about makeup, at the core, it’s all about the beautiful souls I get to encounter.
When a bride settles in the chair to get her makeup done, it’s likely the most quiet, calm moment she’ll have that day. A time for her to take some deep breaths and soak in the excitement of her big day. And I 👏🏽LIVE 👏🏽 FOR 👏🏽 THAT.
I’ve also had people in my chair that are in the midst of suffering. The hardest moments fathomable. The moments you don’t have the strength to even wash your hair. I’ve cried with women as I’ve curled their hair for the funeral of their child.
I don’t take these quick encounters lightly. Every person I have the privilege of spending a couple moments with matter to me. Before every wedding I walk into, I pause in my car and pray that I can be a blessing to you each. When I say I love my brides and my clients, I mean that I loveee you guys. Y’all. Thank you for letting me in on exciting, big, sometimes really really hard times in your lives. I’m in your corner cheering you on.

Only then will your artist have a good grasp on what you’re looking for. Don’t be afraid to speak up if bold brows aren’t your thing, or if you prefer a bolder lip.
