Continuing to pray and help! Here's a Monday morning update:

Disaster relief continues with Omaha Rapid Response at The Relevant Center at 7:30am for at least the next several days. Please wear work boots and bring gloves.

Donations needed for the emergency shelter at the Common Ground Recreation and Aquatic Center- 1701 Veterans Dr. in Elkhorn. Donation needs include: toiletries, non-perishable foods, wipes, diapers, towels, washcloths, pillows, phone chargers, power straps, etc. This is run with help from the Red Cross.

Serve hot meals with Hot Meals USA at Bethany Lutheran Church Elkhorn. Meals will be provided at 7am, 11am, and 4:30pm. If you'd like to sign up to help with the meals, follow this link- https://m.signupgenius.com/...
Bethany will also be collecting Bottled Water, Gatorade, non-perishable snacks and personal care items in the Center Lobby Monday-Thursday 9am-3pm and Friday 9am-12pm.

Volunteer with Heartland Hope Mission's Crisis Response Center. Volunteers needed to help distribute food, hygiene items, clothing, pet food, and toys Monday-Friday 9am-3pm, Saturdays 10am-12pm. Get involved at HeartlandHopeMission.org

Another debris disposal site will open today for tree, limb and other green debris at Two Rivers State Recreation Area. Hours are 9am to 5pm Monday through Friday at the park off Highway 92 and South 264th Street. Enter the park along Two Rivers State Recreation Road. Nebraska Game and Parks staff and signs will direct people to designated drop-off locations within the park. Lumber, drywall, insulation, furniture, appliances and other household waste will not be accepted at this location.
