Just some food for thought!

Brushing your hair when it’s dry is generally better for your hair than brushing it wet. Here’s why:
Dry hair:
• Hair is stronger and more elastic when dry
• Less prone to breakage from brushing
• The cuticle is closed and more protected
Wet hair:
• Hair is in its most fragile, vulnerable state
• The cuticle is swollen and open, making it easier to damage
• Brushing can cause stretching, breakage, and split ends
Best practices:
If you need to detangle wet hair, use a wide-tooth comb or a brush specifically designed for wet hair (like a wet brush or detangling brush), and start from the ends working your way up. Apply a leave-in conditioner or detangling spray first to add slip.
For dry hair, brushing is fine and can actually be beneficial - it distributes natural oils from your scalp down the hair shaft, which helps keep hair healthy and shiny.

As of November 1st I have a new cancellation policy set in place. I am so sorry to anyone who hasn't ever cancelled on me. With that being said...THIS IS ONLY SATURDAY APPTS... I am requiring a $50 deposit to hold your appointment. that $50 will go towards your total !!! If you should need to reschedule I need a 48 hour notice (so I have a chance to fill your spot) My square sends an automated text 48 before and 2 hours before your scheduled appointment to remind you! If you are unable to give a 48 hour notice (reschedule or cancel) your $50 deposit is revoked. Your deposit WILL transfer if you give more than 48 hours!!💃🏼 Again this is only for Saturday appts. If you already have an appt set with me don't worry about the deposit. Also NO ONE will be able to schedule on a Saturday from here so it's not they aren't available you will just need to contact ME to make the appt!!!! I'm extremely sorry to inconvenience anyone.
