To all my salon clients it is with heavy heart that I have to announce the closure of the salon till at least May 1st. Today the Douglas County Health Department announced that all salons within Douglas County to be closed through April 30th. If you are currently on my books I will be reaching out you in the next couple days. Please take this time to be kind to your hair and give it a needed break. Use your deep conditioners, avoid heat and please please please DO NOT BOX COLOR YOUR HAIR! I don’t want you to have to spend extra time and money on a color correction! If you need product please feel free to message me and I can either pick those products up for you and deliver them or I can set up a time and meet you at the salon for those purchases. From the bottom of my heart I love all my clients and can’t wait for you to be back in my chair sharing all the crazy life stories we’ll have. Does anyone else feel like they need to step outside and scream?! Here’s there deal...in just 7 days a lot has changed in our city, state and country. Started with canceling all sports, which we all know I live for baseball season, cancelled my Blake Shelton concert, fish frys and then school 😬...most of those things are “fun” and I can live without but now it’s affecting my business. The cleanliness of my business I’m not worried about. You could eat off the floor. What I’m worried about is the people coming through the door. We have a large senior citizen clientele and for some reason their hair is the last thing they’ll give up. I’m worried about people coming in and not knowing where they’ve been and who they’ve come in contact with. I can beat it, I’m young and healthy. But on the flip side I could show no symptoms and infect my children, my parents, Ryan’s parents and older clients etc. IT DOESNT MATTER HOW CLEAN THE SHOP IS! We as stylist are literally hands on for 2 hours and standing over people. That’s the risk... so for right now my clients that are on my books stay on my books. If you choose to reschedule I completely understand. As for booking new appointments it’s either going to have to wait or right now I’m booking for the 2nd week of April. That could change depending on this ever changing virus. I had 3 people yesterday ask if I had any cancellations because of this where I could fit them in... would I love to get you in? Yes! But is it a safe choice when we all should be staying home? NO! I understand it makes us feel good and it’s a sense of normalcy but your hair can wait.

Thanks to my clients for letting me have fun with their daughters hair today. Lots of work but lots of fun!

Check out this fun color I did last weekend. Everyone so far seems to think it looks like fire! To me it's one of the best vibrant colors I've done. I am a painter and hair is my canvas!

I love when people are not afraid of color. People either love reds/coppers or hate them. Thankfully my client today loves them and so do I. I think this turned out amazing!
