Just a heads up to everyone, my prices will be going up as of February 1st! It’s gonna have to be a bit of a significant increase this time around. It’s been 2 1/2 years since I’ve raised them and a lot has changed in that time! I’m sure you’re well aware 😐 (For example, my rent for my studio went up $100/month last August and I’ve just been eating the cost) I’m thanking of splitting the increase. So an increase in February and another in July (after I reevaluate). How do you feel about that?! Or would you rather I do it at once and reevaluate next January? Looking for thoughts and ideas. I know Everything is costing more! We are all feeling it.

Had to exchange my ballot because I got a little confused and messed up! The lady at the election commission on 120th and center was great! Very helpful.

My word of advice if you’re voting in person, GET THERE EARLY! LIKE,REALLY EARLY!!! People in line were talking about having been there for hours. Like 2-4 hours! Do your part! GO VOTE!!
But absentee ballots are the way to go because you get to sit at home, do research, and if you mess up, you get to skip the line to get a new ballot!!

Today also marks my 20 year work anniversary! I was hired at the first salon I ever worked at on my 21sr birthday! (We won’t name the terrible salon) . Worked there for a couple months then off to Salon Tino for about 4 years. (That was an interesting and eye opening place to be) Then the adventure of self employment for 16 years! Crazy how time flies! I will toot my horn, I have only ever called in sick twice in my entire career. Once, cause I was actually sick! Once because I was self inflicted sick and woke up covered in dried chocolate milk!!! lol (was a wild Christmas party the night before and I just really wanted chocolate milk when I got home! What better place to drink it than in the bathtub?!)
All that to say, thanks for sticking with me through the years. ♥️🥰🥳

What a day! 🤪 got my bedroom window fixed! Hugo approves. He did not love a week of plywood in his favorite spot.
Last nights rain showed through in today’s ceiling damage at work!! Lost a couple tiles and had to do some major cleaning. They got on the roof today and hopefully have it taken care of. The tile guy will be in Wednesday morning to replace all my damaged tiles. ( sorry to anyone with appointments tomorrow) It’s a bunch of them!
