Louis Godoy originally opened Romonas Mexican restaurant in 1984 off of 30th and Reddick. This restaurant was, and still is, a north Omaha staple! Sadly, the doors closed in 2015. Donald Chamberlain, who worked at the original location in 1995 when he was 15 and remained until the doors closed, followed in Louis’ foot steps and opened Ramona’s Mexican restaurant located at
8510 N 30th street in Omaha Nebraska, just blocks away from where the original Romona’s once welcomed everyone and their families. Donald opened his location in April of 2020. Donald kept true to what his uncle Louis showed him throughout the years. He’s kept the original menu, same recipes and follows the way his uncle Louis trained him, even after all these years.

Donald isn’t new to this, he’s TRUE to this! 💪🏻

If you haven’t given us a try, I highly recommend it! Ramona’s has something for the entire family.
