Our friends at Baked and Brewed cafe are moving from the west end to the old roots location just a few doors down from Zip's! Very excited for the new edition to main street! Just a few more weeks until they open so be patient but stay ready!

Baseball season… has come BACK… to ONEONTA!!!

We at zips want to thank the Oneonta community for nominating us for this award and making us winners! Thanks to Aiden Feudi for accepting the award in my absence!!

Tyler Bookhout is the "bookie" to our "zip and the bookie" music duo. It just so happens we are both business owners now. Im super proud of my brother for seeing this journey through from an idea. If you havent tried these bagels, take it from a long islander, they are the best around!! And while you ride over to baked and brewed on winney hill road in oneonta to try some killer bagels and espresso, check out some fire music on spotify, Apple, youtube, etc. Under Zip and the Bookie where we make every beat and sing every vocal. So proud of my brother.

Santa dropped into Zip's this week to make sure all the children sat well for their barbers this year, and he was very impressed! Merry Christmas!!

The Oneonta Christmas Tree lighting ceremony was a great success! The fokine ballet company came down to Zip's Chop Shop to do their annual storefront window recital for the passersby of Oneonta main street, and they all did an amazing job! The barbers had to pay close attention to their haircuts because watching these dancers spin was enough to make US dizzy! After the performance, one of the ballerinas pliéd over to help finish the cut of under my close supervision 🤣 Thanks again to the Fokine Ballet company for bringing joy and smiles to the Oneonta community!
