Good afternoon world,

This past year I took a year to reflect and I am at a point of my life where that reflection has led to major decisions that must be made.

A year ago, I told myself I neede a year to find out what my requirements of myself and my being. I found them. I have no expectations of life nor another human. I require certain things I refuse to let go of because I have worked so hard on myself to achieve.

I am required to disappoint someone for my wants.

With that said, I have goals I have wanted to achieve and I have put them on the back burner for everyone else these past three years. I learned and I perfected my skills that I knew I would need eventually as I was evolving.

I knew I would have to make a career decision soon and I hoped I had more time. However, I am only in control of my reaction not the speed of the process when it comes to health and things outside of your control.

I diagnosed with Fibro a year ago, but I was also diagnosed with rheumatoid arthritis, early stages, that have progressed and affected my hands.

With that said, I have made a choice to no longer continue to offer chemical and hair services to clients. The safety of my client in my chair is my priority and the thought of not feeling the shears drop or spasm and hurt someone is something I genuinely do not want to do. My son is teaching me about wants. He is a very wanting child.

I want to make a change.

Someone recently taught me and others now continue to teach me that no matter what I do and the time I do have to give it will never be enough and I do not deserve to be made feel any other way than I choose. That means I have to let go of words like loyalty and obligation and anything that goes along that.

I learned that is not who I am. I am not looking for loyalty or to feel obligated to support or be a part of my or your journey. If that is what you require in your life for the WANTS that you desire then I will not meet that requirement and I wish you the best.

I am ready to turn it all inward and focus on me. I am ready to give myself the shot I deserve to win.
