Successfully summited Mt.Hood 4/25/26
We started at 1AM at Timberline Lodge and were on the summit by 7AM. The forecast for the day was -13F with a -22F wind-chill. It was so cold all of my water and sunscreen froze solid. This has been on my bucket list for a long time. It was truly surreal living out this dream.

How often should you get a massage?

The answer is different for everybody. The biggest factors are usually how physical your job is, how active you are, and how much time you spend being sedentary.

For me, I have a very physical job and I’m also really active in my free time. I’ve found that getting a massage every 2–3 weeks helps prevent regular aches and pains from building up.

My goal as a massage therapist is to help you figure out how far apart we can space your appointments while still keeping you feeling your best — so you never get to the point of thinking, “Oh my gosh, my massage is still 2 weeks away!”

Staying active is important to me, and regular massage is one of the ways I keep my body feeling capable of doing the things I love.

Therapeutic deep tissue massage isn’t about brute force.
When applied correctly, it’s targeted, effective… and relaxing enough to fall asleep.

Got lucky this weekend and scored a last minute fire lookout reservation on the southeast side of Mt. Hood. I was able to drive part of the way before snowshoeing the final 5.5 miles and 1,700 feet of elevation gain.

Sunday I attempted to climb Mount Hood with some friends.

Alarm at 1:00am. Forecast was -11 degrees, 20 mph winds, and a wind chill near -22. Snow was supposed to clear by 7:30am. The wind stopped. The snow stopped. Visibility never showed up. Total whiteout.

No summit this time.

Staying physically active isn’t about looking fit. It’s about being capable. It’s about saying yes to big experiences and knowing your body can handle it.

Training matters. Recovery matters. For me, regular massage is a big part of that recovery. It keeps me moving well, helps prevent small issues from becoming bigger ones, and allows me to keep saying yes to challenges like this.

I’ll be back.

“This wasn’t just a massage. This was a big step in the right direction.”
That’s always the goal—listening first, then delivering targeted, therapeutic work that creates real change.
Thank you for the kind words and trust.

5 years in business

I opened my massage practice just 3 months before the start of the covid pandemic, and here we are. Nearly 4,000 hours of hands-on work, over 100 hours of continuing education, and becoming the highest-reviewed massage practice in Oregon City since my second year in business.

None of this would be possible without my amazing clients. Thank you for your support, trust, and referrals over the years.
