Finding a job you love can be a process. You may have to try a few different things before you find the right fit. Don't be afraid to change careers if you're not happy with what you're doing. The most important thing is to find something that makes you happy and that you're excited to do each day.😄😁😆

Why I do What I Do..........

Most people don't know this, but I actually got started as a Makeup Artist because I fell into a position where I had to do makeup on not only me, but all my friend. In high school I was a show choir "Nerd," Which meant that we had to get all dressed up in hair and makeup a lot. I had so much fun getting myself and all my wonderful friend ready for our shows. My senior year I got to design the makeup look for the big end of the year show, and it was so amazing. I also ended up doing the makeup on most of the girls. what can I say I hade fun doing it anyway. At the time, I quickly fell in love with being a makeup artist because it made it possible for me to express my creativity, by bringing out the natural beauty of all my friends. Due to this experiencer I have put in a lot of hard work and dedication to become the makeup artist I wanted to be, and grow my business into what it is today.

I truly believe I have the best job in the world and couldn't imagine doing anything else. Working with clients who value the hard work I put into my makeup looks is incredibly rewarding.

There will be no one in the world that cares as much about the life you live, the work you create, the dreams you chase, then you. So you might as well go live the life you dream of, create things you love, work on things you are passionate about, and push past what others might think is even possible.

Today, I'm taking a moment to reflect on this journey of becoming a Makeup artist and Permanent makeup artist, and how incredibly thankful I am to spend my days bringing to life wonderful looks and eye brows that make me proud to say I did that work. I was so grateful to have the opportunity to work with Maya Newman, she is an amazing photographer who killed this photo shoot. Thank you to those who have helped me find the courage to pursue my dreams and make them a reality.

I hope that I can inspire another person to pursue their dreams too.

What gets you out of bed in the morning? Alarm clock? Kids? the thought of needing to get ready? The desire to make your day great?

Every morning I am awaken by the Song from the Lion King "Circle of life". Trust me that song wasn't my first pic, but my husband loved it. So now we are both awoken to "Na simba kulindana" and couldn't imagine starting my day any other way.

What's the number one thing you look for when you're searching for the perfect Makeup Artist? Is it location, style, maybe even the Person, or Pricing? If you've been looking for a Makeup Artist, you've probably realized that it can be a little overwhelming at times. I'm here to help you in your search with my 5 best tips on finding the perfect Makeup Artist! 🫶😍

1. You Have to look at their work. Just because they are a makeup artist doesn't mean they are the right one. Look at what they do best, and see if that is comparable with what you are looking for.

2. Reach out ASAP! Once you know you like their work, reach out as soon as you can, make sure you are strait forward with what you want and that they know all the detail.

3. Trust the professionals. You need an Experienced makeup artist with an eye for enhancing natural beauty, and skilled in various techniques. You want someone to create a stunning looks that reflect individual personalities and boost confidence.

4. Don't get tempted to do your own makeup or let a friend do it. Trust me, a big event like your wedding or a Dance isn’t the day you want to be fussing with your eyeliner!

5. Don’t book your makeup artist based on price alone. A lot of people put book a makeup artist as the last thing on the list, but it should be one of the first things. A bad makeup artist may cost you 25 bucks, but they can cause the whole night to fall apart. An experienced expert can cost a lot more, but will be well worth it in the end.

There's nothing like doing what you love for a living. It's a great feeling to wake up in the morning and know that you're going to spend the day doing something you enjoy. It's even better when your job is also your passion.

I know there are a lot of people out there who are still searching for their dream job. But don't give up. Keep looking until you find something that makes you happy. It might take a while, but it's worth it in the end.
