What a freaking babe! I love doing this girls hair! It’s like I’m vicariously living through her every time we chat during our appointments 😅

This cool girl likes to keep things looking natural, healthy and beachy, so we’ve been giving her a scandi hairline and adding in a few foils around her crown to make it look perfectly sun-kissed. Finished things off with some hand painting at the end and voilà, beautiful beachy blonde. ❤️

Reasons why I’d choose natural, lived-in color 95% of the time:

1. Sticking as close to your natural hair color as possible will usually suit your skin tone best.

2. The maintenance is LOW - you can come in every 8 weeks, or you can come in every 6 months, depending on your preference.

3. You’re spending less money. Sometimes the cost per appointment is a little more $$, but since it’s a lower maintenance color option, you don’t have to come in as often unless you want to.

4. The less bleach we’re using and the less often you have to have your hair colored, the more healthy your hair will be.

I’ve had lots of questions lately about how to keep blonde hair looking bright, healthy, and fresh, so here are some tips and reminders.

-turn down the heat on your hot tools, try to keep it under 400°
-use a hair mask once a week (or every other wash if you only wash once a week 🤫)
-make sure you aren’t washing with hard water
-use professional hair products
-ask your stylist if you need to come in for a toner/gloss
-oil your mids to ends 1-2 times a day
