Let’s talk about blue & purple shampoo 💜💙
-Who needs it?
✨Any & every blonde or balayage client who hates brassy tones.
-How does it work?
✨You typically only need to use once a week in place of your normal shampoo. Wet the hair, apply the shampoo, work thru for 3-5 minutes & rinse, condition like normal. Make sure to not leave in longer than 5- especially if your hair is lighter. The blue or purple deposits into the hair like a temporary toner/glaze to keep your blonde fresh and vibrant until your next salon visit.
-Do I need it?
✨If you’re struggling to keep your hair from being brassy- then yes! Especially now that we’re going into summer- toners tend to fade faster than normal if you’re out in the sun/doing water activities.
-Which one do I get? Blue or Purple?
✨Blue cancels more orange tones, and Purple cancels yellow tones. Depending on how your hair lightens, will determine which one is best for you. If you’re not sure- ask one of us at the salon and we can help guide you to which one is best!
