Pastor Maurice and his wife, Tia Mckoy, were just celebrated 29 years of marriage and 32 years together on July 6, 2025. However, they decided to stop by “Salt & Honey Grill” on N Kings Hwy in #MyrtleBeach, #SouthCarolina, on Wednesday afternoon. But instead of Southern hospitality, Pastor Maurice claim he and his wife were met with disrespect and racism. “My wife ordered steak and eggs. I ordered eggs Benedict. Her steak wasn’t cooked to her liking, so she sent it back,” Pastor Maurice said. The waitress took the steak to the back but came out with the same plate—and a message from the chef saying: “That’s the way it supposed to be… you just have to eat it.” “If it’s not cooked to my specification, then you need to prepare it the way that we asked for it,” Pastor Maurice said in a Facebook video. “But that wasn’t the topping, guys.” He says the OWNER came over and doubled down: “He googled how a medium-well steak is supposed to look and said that’s how it’s supposed to be.” But then it allegedly turned blatantly racist. “The owner told my wife and I that Black people are not welcomed in his establishment and that I could leave and I’m barred from his restaurant.” “Only thing he had to do was remake the steak,” Pastor Maurice said. “But this gentleman told us we were not welcomed in his restaurant.” 07/11/2025

I believed he would survive because the doctor said that even with a lung, Tupac was extremely healthy and strong, and it was perfectly possible that he could recover if we could put him somewhere quiet for six months. We were prepared to do that, but Tupac's organs started to shut down. Once they tried to get Tupac out of the coma, and Tupac started fighting, we believe that Tupac was not interested. Tupac died seven times and they reviewed him seven times [and then] I asked the doctors to allow him to die.
